Linne put the car together for Billy Vukovich Jr. to race at the Hut Hundred at Terre Haute on September 7, 1975. However, Vuky was hurt the previous day while racing in the Hoosier Hundred in Indianapolis. Terre Haute promoter Don Smith and his press aide Bill Hill then persuaded AJ Foyt to race the next day at the Hut Hundred. Foyt put the car on the pole and ran with the leaders for 33 laps until the engine failed. This is the last midget driven by AJ Foyt. |
